Wells occurs as little city in the Mendip district of Somerset. These are England's third smallest city by having a people of merely 10,000, when the City of London, which has a resident people of simply 8,000, & a City of St David's by using the people of 2,000. (1))
Wells occurs as popular tourer destination, due within big section to getting many historical web sites & its proximity to Bath, Stonehenge and other popular web sites. Area of Wells Cathedral (widely considered one of the virtually all beautiful within England) date back to the 10th century. A city derives its title from either ternion wells in the grounds of the Bishop's Palace. Too placed nearby is the Wookey Hole cave system.
William Penn is said to have passed across Wells shortly prior to allowing for America, spending a nighttime at A Crown Inn.
